Programme (subject to change)

Thursday 20 April

This day is dedicated to the art fair Art Brussels. Together we will visit the exclusive invite-only VIP Preview.

15:00h Tour and visit VIP Preview Art Brussels
The art fair, founded in 1968, has been considered one of the most renowned European art fairs for years and is one of the must-sees of the international art calendar. On this day, museum directors, curators and collectors come to the fair to network and, above all, buy art. At the fair's three sections Prime, Discovery and Rediscovery, you will see the work of established artists but also discover new work by young talent and forgotten or underappreciated artists. We will guide you through the extensive offer and share our viewing and buying tips so you can get more out of your fair visit.

18:00h Drinks
We will enjoy a lovely glass of champagne together while getting to know other Young Collectors a bit better. Afterwards there is plenty of time left to see more art at this extensive art fair.

Friday 21 April

This morning we will visit the studio of an emerging artist. During this unique insight, we will learn more about this creator's thinking and making process. In the afternoon, we visit the brand new Fondation Blan. This new cultural hotspot, founded by a Brussels private collector, is a place for imagination and creation and offers a residency for promising artists in addition to exhibitions. This afternoon, we will visit the first exhibition and hear more about the background of this exciting new initiative. We will conclude the day with an exclusive visit to one of its many contemporary art institutions.

Saturday 22 April

We start the day with a visit to the exclusive members-only club The Merode. Housed in a beautiful historic building in the heart of Brussels, the club there programmes surprising and contemporary exhibitions. In the afternoon, we are guests at the residence and exhibition space of a passionate collector couple. They take us through their extraordinary collecting story and their desire not just to own art but, above all, to contribute to its creation and development.
