I am a cultural historian with a passion for modern and contemporary art. I work as a freelancer for two art fairs, an art magazine, a gallery platform, a collector's platform and a cultural festival. In my spare time, I visit around 200 exhibitions/galleries/museums/art fairs every year, which I capture on my Instagram account Galeriereporter.

Art

I love different styles of art, but I have a particular fondness for minimal art and color field painting. I also appreciate conceptual art with an intriguing and/or poetic backstory.

Tips for 2022

There are a number of exhibitions I look forward to, including an exhibition of new work by Kehinde Wiley at the National Gallery in London and an exhibition of 100 years of artists in their studio at the Whitechapel Gallery. I will definitely go and see the Light and Space exhibit in Copenhagen Contemporary.

Fun Fact

I can be a bit of a die-hard when it comes to seeing art, it seems my brain can handle visiting 22 galleries in one day!
