Thursday, March 23
Thursday is arrival day, with time in the afternoon for to visit the various museums in the city on your own.
16:00h VIP preview SPARK
We start with a visit to SPARK, where over 80 international galleries participate. Unlike other fairs, there is a focus on the whole body of work of an artist: each gallery only shows works by one artist. The result is an in-depth, well curated fair where you can discover new artists.
20:00h VIP Party
After the fair, we will be guests at the famous SPARK afterparty, where gallery owners, artists and collectors meet on the dance floor with a glass of champagne after the first day of the fair.
Friday, March 24
Friday is all about discovering the city; together we will explore Vienna's ecosystem of the arts and look inside galleries, collectors homes and artists studios.
11:00h Gallery Tour
This day we dive into the Viennese gallery scene, visiting both young galleries and established names. Not only will you discover the local art scene, but we will also see some of the city's beautiful architecture.
14:30h Studio Visit at an emerging artist
Vienna is an increasingly popular place to live and work among artists, this morning we will visit an emerging artist in his studio and get an insight into the creation and thought process.
16:00h Collection Visit with a private pollector
There is no shortage of collectors in the Austrian capital. We conclude our afternoon with a visit to a private Viennese collector, who opens his collection especially for us. Personal stories and anecdotes are not only an inspiration for your own collecting adventure but also provide insight into the local art scene: what is a favorite among Viennese collectors?
19:00h Dinner
In the evening we meet for an nice dinner and a good glass of wine.
Saturday, March 25
We conclude our trip with a visit to two of the city's leading contemporary art institutions.
11:00h Heidi Horten Collection
This brand new private museum houses the collection of Austrian mega-collector Heidi Goëss-Horten (1941 - 2022). The collection consists of masterpieces from the 20th and 21st centuries, ranging from Niki de Saint Phalle to Jean-Michel Basquiat.
13:00h Kunsthalle Wien
Kunsthalle Wien is known for its progressive and experimental programming. During our visit we will look at one of the exhibitions together and then there will be time to explore the rest of the art hall on your own.
