From 25 to 27 September, we’ll travel to vibrant Istanbul, where centuries-old history meets contemporary art. During this trip, we’ll visit both Contemporary Istanbul, Turkey’s leading art fair, and the Istanbul Biennial, where you can discover emerging talent and established artists alike. In addition to these international art events, we’ll also dive into the city’s dynamic art scene — the program includes a visit to a unique private collection and several up-and-coming galleries. We’ll also enjoy a group dinner at an elegant restaurant and kick off the program with a cocktail moment.

Program

From 25 to 27 September 2026, we’ll travel to Istanbul for Contemporary Istanbul and the Istanbul Biennial. The fair takes place in a stunning location right on the banks of the Bosphorus, where international galleries present contemporary art with a strong focus on Turkey and the surrounding region. Over the past years, Contemporary Istanbul has grown into an important platform for art in Southeast Europe and the Middle East.

During our visit, we’ll also explore the Istanbul Biennial, with exhibitions spread across the city — from historic buildings to unexpected outdoor venues. In addition, we’ll visit several leading private collections and meet collectors who help shape Turkey’s vibrant art scene. The program includes a group dinner and a cocktail moment.

COSTS, CONDITIONS & REGISTRATION

COSTS

This trip to Istanbul costs €495 for members (€725 for non-members). This includes: 1x cocktails, 1x dinner and participation in the entire program incl. entrance, tours and tickets. Not included are the hotel, flight, transportation between locations and to and from airport, travel and cancellation insurance and all meals that are not mentioned in the program.

SIGN UP

We would like to receive your registration via travel@youngcollectorscircle.nl before 1 March. That is also the moment when you will hear from us if there are enough registrations for the trip to take place. We advise you to book your trip and accommodation once the trip is confirmed. Definitive participation will take place in order of payment. When you register for the trip you will receive a payment request. As soon as the payment has been received, we will send you confirmation of your participation and we will send you regular updates on the trip.

TRAVEL & ACCOMMODATION

You are responsible for booking your own travel, hotel and insurance. We can of course advise you on transportation and accommodation.

CONDITIONS

Please note that booking this trip is at your own risk. Should the trip be cancelled due to restrictions measures issues by the government at the time, or the occurrence of a health crisis, safety issues or extreme weather conditions you will receive a 25% refund of your registration fee. We will cancel the trip if the events in the program (art fairs, museums, galleries, collections) are cancelled or closed or if there is a ban on entry or a quarantine obligation for the destination at the time of the trip. If the presentation of a negative test result or vaccination certificate is required, you must provide this yourself. Should you go to your destination on your own despite the cancellation of the organized trip, we will - if possible - still provide you with tickets to the fairs, museums or collections.
