From 20 to 22 June we will visit Berlin to explore the Berlin Biennale, a week after its official opening. The 13th Berlin Biennale - one of Europe’s most prestigious recurring art exhibitions - will be curated by Zasha Colah and will be a city-wide manifestation where artists from all over the globe will showcase their work.

Program

The Berlin Biennale is widely considered to be one of the most engaged and experimental biennals and prides itself on showcasing artists who are not yet incorporated into the global art scene and art market. This makes the Berlin Biennial a hotspot for curators, collectors and museum professionals alike. In the months leading up to our trip, the list of participating artists of the Biennial will be announced. Besides our visit to the most interesting exhibitions of the Berlin Biennial, we we also visit several artists in their studios and get a glimpse into the home of a private collector. Drinks on Friday night and a group dinner on Saturday are included in this trip!

Costs, Conditions & Registration

This trip to Berlin costs €475 for members (€650 for non-members). This includes: 1x cocktails, 1x dinner and participation in the entire program incl. entrance, tours and tickets. Not included is hotel, flight or trainticket, transportation between locations and to and from airport, travel and cancellation insurance and all meals not mentioned in the program.

TRAVEL & ACCOMMODATION
You are responsible for booking your own travel, hotel and insurance. We can of course advise you on transportation and accommodation.

REGISTRATION
We would like to receive your registration via travel@youngcollectorscircle.nl before March 1, 2025. Definitive participation is in order of payment. When you register for the trip you will receive a payment request. As soon as the payment has been received, we will send you confirmation of your participation and we will send you regular updates on the trip.

CONDITIONS
Please note that booking this trip is at your own risk. Should the trip be cancelled due to restrictions measures issues by the government at the time, or the occurrence of a health crisis, safety issues or extreme weather conditions you will receive a 30% refund of your registration fee. We will cancel the trip if the events in the program (art fairs, museums, galleries, collections) are cancelled or closed or if there is a ban on entry or a quarantine obligation for the destination at the time of the trip. If the presentation of a negative test result or vaccination certificate is required, you must provide this yourself. Should you go to your destination on your own despite the cancellation of the organized trip, we will - if possible - still provide you with tickets to the fairs, museums or collections.
