Upon arrival in Lissabon we will get to know our fellow travelers over a late dinner at one of Lisbon's great restaurants.
SATURDAY 12 NOVEMBER
10:00 Breakfast and Talk
We start the day with a breakfast at Casa Dell'Arte with a talk about the Portuguese art scene and about the Büyükkuşoğlu collection, which is on display here.
11:00 Gallery Tour
The gallery scene in Lisbon is booming! We will visit a diverse range of local galleries that open with new and exciting exhibitions during Lisbon Art Weekend.
14:00 Lunch (on your own account)
15:00 Studio Visit
In the afternoon you will get an impression of Lisbon's contemporary art scene when we visit various artist studios.
19:00 Cocktails and Artist Talk
We conclude the day with cocktails and artist talks at Casa Dell'Arte

SUNDAY 13 NOVEMBER
11:00 Collection Berardo
In the morning we take you to the special private collection of Museum Berardo. Besides presenting their own collection, the museum also hosts exciting temporary exhibitions of modern and contemporary art.

14:00 Studio Visits
In the afternoon we visit exhibitions and artist studios in Barreiro, the up and coming art district of Lisbon.

Cost
The whole trip costs €400 for members, €550 for non-members. This includes: 1x breakfast, 1x cocktails, 1x dinner and participation in the entire program including admission, tours and tickets. Not included is hotel, flight/train ticket, transportation within Lisbon and to and from train station/airport, travel and cancellation insurance and all meals not mentioned in the program.
VIP Package
Especially for Young Collectors Circle members and ambassadors, Casa Dell'Arte makes available its entire building, one of Lisbon's most beautiful tiled buildings from 1860. Casa Dell'Arte has three spectacular suites, all with fantastic views and featuring the characteristic blue Portuguese tiles. Casa Dell'Arte also houses the Portuguese part of the renowned Turkish Büyükkuşoğlu collection. It is as if you are staying in the home of a collector! Part of the program will take place in the common areas of Casa Dell'Arte. On Saturdays, from sunrise to sunset, the famous Feira da Ladra market takes place in front of the hotel: this market has existed since the 12th century and is a labyrinth of stalls selling antiques, crafts, books, clothes and much more.
The VIP package with participation in the program including stay at Casa Dell'Arte costs €850 (special rate of €225/room/night). Two suites are available. Applications for the VIP package will be processed in order of registration.
Conditions
Please note that booking this trip is at your own risk. If the trip cannot take place due to the corona measures at the time of the trip, you will receive a 50% refund of your registration fee. We will cancel the trip if the events in the program (art fairs, museums, galleries, collections) are cancelled or closed or if at the time of the trip there is a ban on entry or a mandate for quarantine for our destination. If a negative test result or vaccination certificate is required, you must take care of this yourself. If, despite the cancellation of the organized trip, you still go to your destination on your own, we will provide you - if possible - with tickets for the fairs, museums or collections.
Travel & Accommodation
You are responsible for booking your trip and hotel and for any insurance arrangements. We can advise you on transport and accommodation. We recommend the following flights with Transavia:
- Friday, November 11th: departure Amsterdam 16:55h, arrival Lisbon 18:55h
- Sunday November 13th: departure Lisbon 19:30h, arrival Amsterdam 23:35h
